PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Tri An Lake - the largest artificial freshwater lake in the Southeast region, is home to many typical freshwater fish species, among which needlefish is a species with the most limited natural supply. Tri An Lake needlefish have a slender body, few bones, a subtly sweet taste, and are significantly less "fishy" than sea needlefish - a difference that anyone who has tasted it once will immediately recognize.

Dried needlefish is made according to the traditional method of the fishermen around the lake: fresh fish caught within the day, washed, seasoned with just enough sea salt, then sun-dried naturally for 2-3 days. No added sugar, no artificial coloring agents; the natural golden color of the dried fish comes from the sun and salt, not from food coloring.

This is a specialty little known outside the Dong Nai region, and the supply depends entirely on the natural fishing season, so it is often out of stock. This is one of the reasons Vietmorsel places orders in advance from the beginning of the season to ensure timely delivery.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Deep-fry in medium heat until golden and crispy on both sides - this method best preserves the fish's natural sweetness. Can be grilled over charcoal or baked in an oven at 180°C for 8-10 minutes. Serve with hot white rice, dipped in chili sauce or garlic-chili fish sauce. Shredding and mixing with green mango salad is also a very popular way to enjoy it.

STORAGE

Store in a dry, cool place, away from sunlight and humidity. Unopened packaging: can be stored at room temperature for 3 months. After opening: store in the refrigerator, use within 2 weeks. If you want to keep it longer: store in the freezer, use within 3 months. Thaw naturally for 30 minutes before cooking.
