Pía cake is a culinary heritage of the Chinese and Kinh communities in the Vung Thom region, Soc Trang - where the traditional craft of making Pía cakes has existed for over 200 years. The name "Pía" originates from the Teochew language; the crust is made using the characteristic multi-layered, thin-rolled technique of the Chinese, creating a unique crispness and light flakiness unmatched by any other cake.

The filling is a perfect combination of fragrant, rich durian, mild, buttery mung bean, and savory salted egg yolk, with three layers of flavor harmonizing in one bite. This is the most distinctive gift from Soc Trang, sought after by those far from home each time they visit.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
